### Applications

Seamless worktops, sink areas, kitchen and bar counters, reception desks, retail fixtures, healthcare and laboratory furniture, façades and wall panels, interior elements, bathroom ware (see the ALBELA project).

### Fabrication and compatibility

- Cutting: panel saw or CNC router, carbide tooling. Inside corners radiused, R10 minimum.
- Routing: edge profiles, cut-outs, 3D engraving.
- Bonding: two-component acrylic adhesive matched to the sheet colour; the joint is sanded flush and becomes visually indistinguishable.
- Thermoforming: heat until the mass softens, form in a mould, deep draws permitted.
- Finish: matte, satin or polished, set by the final abrasive grit.
- Repair: local sanding, no visible boundary, because the material is homogeneous through its thickness.
- Installation: prepared substrate with allowance for thermal movement.

### Limitations

- Not a quartz agglomerate and not comparable to one in hardness.
- Prolonged contact with hot cookware needs a trivet, as with any solid surface.
